The gamemode of the Space Hunt Event is Knockout, a 60-player, 20-squad battle royale mode with a unique twist. Unlike traditional battle royales, Forget about mindless kill counts; here, it's all about the objectives. Squads capture zones and rack up Evo points to score.

The simplest way to boost your Evo score? Just take out your enemies.

After each round, the bottom five squads get sent packing, whittling down the competition until only five squads are left standing. These finalists face off in a Sudden Death finale, where they’re redeployed for one last showdown without infinite respawns. The last squad standing claims victory.

There’s no fill queue, so make sure to bring your own squad of three!

Keep your eyes peeled for those objectives scattered across the map. The longer you hold them, the more points you'll rack up — five points for every ten percent captured and a hefty 20 points for a full zone capture. But don’t stop there; earn Evo points through knockdowns and assists to stack up extra points while leveling your shields. Remember, 800 Evo points translate to five points towards your total score.

Be sure to utilize jump towers. If a point is swarming with enemies, don’t hesitate to leap away and snag another. Stay adaptable — gray points on the map are neutral and up for grabs. And when the heat is on, know when to fight or flight; if the enemy's got the upper hand, it’s smarter to retreat and regroup than to risk an early exit.

Once you hit sudden death, it’s a no-holds-barred brawl. Points are out the window, so zero in on teamwork and survival as the ring tightens. Stick close to your squad and choose your battles wisely.

You can take part in the Amped Knockout Trials quests during the event to permanently unlock two Legends. From September 17 to October 15, completing Crypto's Trials will grant you access to Crypto. Wattson's Trials run from October 1 to October 15, giving you a chance to unlock Wattson.

You'll find these in your quests tab in the main menu.

Both Legends will be yours to play for free during their challenge windows. Complete all the challenges for a Legend, and they’ll be permanently unlocked on your account — no strings attached. If you manage to complete both sets of challenges, you'll earn an Epic-tier badge as a bonus reward.

During the Space Hunt Event, you can unlock a total of 36 exclusive limited-time cosmetics. These items are available through Space Hunt Event Packs, each containing one event item and two standard items.

Thankfully, there is no chance of receiving duplicate event items in these packs.

Bounty Bucks serve as the primary currency for the event and can be earned by completing daily challenges. You can spend them in the Space Hunt Reward Shop to select your desired rewards. The Reward Shop will refresh with new items halfway through the event on September 28, 2024, at 10 am PT.

Additionally, the Store Tab will feature limited-time skins available from September 17 to October 8, 2024. You’ll need to shell out some real cash to snag these.
